Thread: My Quitting thread

I've just spoken with my LS leader. I'm not leaving the LS, and I'm "likely" not quitting FFXIV. But I won't be playing anymore until I can actually level my DOM or DOW jobs. I guess I'll keep an eye on the updates.

I've made this thread not to start drama, but in hope that maybe if SE sees enough of these, they will get an idea of what's important. You can add all the instances you want, but if there is no way to progress in this game effectively, you have basicly killed your game.

I did consider grinding DOH and DOL while waiting for a update to fix this, but there are LOTS of other mmorpgs out there that I can play. I'm not going to suffer here waiting for you guys to let me have fun. I haven't had fun in this game yet, and grinding behest was really all I had in terms of progression. I've had enough. Sorry.

How about one big "I ragequiiiit"-thread? Everyone could just "like" the OP's post of ragequitting who wants to ragequit.

Why would you call it a ragequit. You are only rank 22, what do you even know about this game? I've explained my logic behind it very well, and I'd say it's very reasonable. There is no rage in my quitting. If anything, it's more of a reluctant quit.

Besides, I already stated why I'm posting a new thread. So it's more likely that the mods will see how many people they are losing.

How about you go out there and rank up, and troll less. I'd be surprised if you can even make it to rank 30 conj before you give up with this current system.

Why do people have to explain why they not going to ply or quit? like we really care? not being rude or anything but everyone beside your friends and linkshell people should be the people that should care everyone here on the forums does not really care about it.

Considering you're a rank 36 with 1,500+ posts, I'd say you value you're opinion on these forums much higher than others value your opinion. If you didn't you wouldn't be spamming the forums with it the entire time, am I correct?

Wrong this is my 3rd reroll 1st time i did not like the servers full of JP that was rude to NA players and most people on the severs was just plain rude. Then become a hume in selbina got to 44 and reroll again due to me being a hume i was trying to be something new but got bored of it i was had a few craft 20+ mining 20+ few class 30+ then reroll for the last time as a elvaan.

Post counts? i think that due to the few months i stop playing due my gf pc being broken and the game was just boring playing by myself and also was here from day of the forums release..

So first Char 37 with a few 20+ and craft
2: 44pug 25black smith 25arm 20+gla and few others
3: is the one you see now

And i don't think i need to also display beta1-3 and open beta seeing how that was just beta and this is more like beta release lol.

and like i said a few time i was not being rude just saying no need to make a topic about why you quiting "or stop playing to stuff get fix"when really the only people who care are your close friend and linkshell.

I think the dev have a pretty good idea why people are quiting but maybe you should have read that 1.18 is only the first step of the fix and it would take about 2-3 more patch to fix then other few patch to release the new maps and core fix and they even said they going to fix the issue with mobs to allow us to do camps like ffxi for exp outside areas.

i think people wish for so much in 1.18 when it not even a big patch 500mb i think waiting for the core fix and map update which wont to they fix all the issue now so maybe patch 23.0+

not being rude you know just trying to say that i did use my brain maybe you should have read that 1.18 was not the god fix they still need to fix the core system like i said and many other stuff that wont even be in 1.19 or 1.20 which sucks

They know why there quiting but 1.18 is not the god fix read my post again you miss some. 1.18 was just the start we still have 1.19 which fix the rest of the auto attack and sp issue and 1.20which add jobs. then we missing the map and core system fix which wont even happen too maybe 1.22+ which i'm thinking around 1.25 or 2.00 is when the game going to be really for ps3 and P2P this is when the game going to be good enough to play.

the only issue am having is they taking forever just to release the patch. the more players lose hope the more people would not come back to this game. I think SE should really hire more people to release the patch.

Maybe I have way more hours of play behind me than you, maybe I already got 5 characters with every class on rank 50 because I had enough time and 3 PCs to do it? Or maybe I don't? Actually, who cares?
It doesn't mean a thing about my devotion to this game. But it's always easy to call that a valid argument and say "I know so much more about this game than you." when actually you don't know a thing about how much I know, play or whatever

And to answer your OP post in a different way:
No, you are NOT explaining a thing about why you quit, so it's not helping the devs at all.

-> Not helpful, how the hell should they know what you consider "fun"?

-> Behest are still there, new ways of progression were added, and btw..there always were other ways of leveling but behests. So this statement is not helpful either.

-> Like I just said, there are, even if you believe I am not qualified to say anything about it, there are still many many other players out there with ranks far above yours, and all of them also managed.
Although I'd still say this statement is the one closest to an actually explanation

Your whole post sounds a lot like ragequitting to me.
It sounds like you don't like the new patch (which is totally okay, everyone has an opinion and it's normal opinions differ) but are too lazy to formulate what you don't like so it could actually HELP the devs to understand what's wrong with their patch.

And btw: I still think my idea of one huge quit-thread is better.
Because everyone can just like the first post who agrees, so the devs can see in numbers how many people want to quit and after liking the first post, players can also add the reasons WHY in their own post.
Your idea is bad, because it's basically spamming the forums with new threads no one but the devs want to read, keeping players who want to have a nice discussion on other topics from talking because they can't even find their threads anymore with all the quitting threads.
