This game needs depth, Please implement a second weapon (playstyle) for each job

So the dev team would make all new animations for the new weapons, make it so those weapons are strapped to those jobs and for what? So you can use Rage of Halone with a staff instead of a sword? Seems like a utter waste of resources.

Hah, they probably got lazy and just took those dagger models and slapped two of them together to make low level rogue/ninja weapon.

That or they're realising "oh, if we're gonna eventually implement 20ish jobs or so we can't really afford to give 1 job 2 types."

Most likely this is why they changed gladiator weapons and not some odd conspiratorially contrived notion on weapon types. Daggers and short swords are all blade-style weapons so it made sense at the time. With rogue coming you suddenly have a need to differentiate between swords and daggers/short swords.
