One of my favorite emotes from Final Fantasy XI was /sigh, "Raxiaz sighs dejectedly." was one of my most often used emotes. I'm very disappointed that it's not in this game.
Please bring back our /sigh! I can't be the only one who misses it...![]()

I still type it knowing that I'll just get the system error message. It fits 90% of the interactions with people in this game.
For some races /upset kind of works, in my opinion.
I could understand that, but most times it's not that I'm upset. I'm just /disappointed. I noticed they had that as an emote, but I still miss my /sigh. It was a command that fit perfectly for a lot of situations in XI. It's kind of like, "Well... that sucks, but it is what it is. *Resume grind.*"
Really wish this was in the game...that and /facepalm.
"I've been playing MMO's a long time and if there's one thing I've learned, it's that lions do not concern themselves with the opinions of sheep. Just take that little voice in your head that tells you to be tactful and understanding and shoot it...shoot it in the goddamn face."
- SAO Abridged (Ep.2 | 8:35)
I also have typed /sigh way too many times, only to be reminded that the command isn't implemented...yet. I also desperately need a /spit emote, for those occasional times when I want to convey my feelings toward another player through one emote that just sums everything up for me.
I'd like a /sigh emote. I'd also like a version of /wave that can be used as a greeting when you see someone rather than as an attempt to catch someone's attention from 300 yalms away.
