[PS4] Cross Hotbar sets changing when changing class

Right now i have the problem that i want to use 2 cross hotbars per class, so with 4 classes all my cross hotbars are filled up. Now when i play a fifth class there is no more room left, i'd have to delete old skills, which is just annyoing. I'd have to redo it all if i want to go back to an old class.

Cant we have a function that we have, lets say 2 or 3 cross hotbars (2 should suffice, 32 skills per class is enough i'd say) per class. When i change to WAR the corss hotbars change to my WAR hotbars, and the same for all other classes.

If there is a way to do this already or a workaround, then i just missed it and any info is appreciated

Character Configuration > Hotbar Settings > Sharing > Uncheck whichever hotbars you want using separate buttons per class/job.

Above post is correct. I selected the first two hotbars for each job specific and selected 2 hotbars to share. Thus way when im on my blm the first 2 bars have blm actions. Then next 2 have other actions like Sprint, chocobo, return...etc. so when I switch to brd the first two bars have brd actions, and the next 2 still have the Sprint, chocobo, return. ...etc

Sorry but thats not what i meant. This way i am still limited to 8 cross hotbars for ALL my classes. They are already filled up, but i have only 1 DoW, 2 crafts and 1 gatherer at 50. SO now that i want to lvl another DoW i have to overwrite other skills from my other classes and i cant seem to find a workaround for this problem

EDIT: either i am unable to make it work or i'm missing something. from your explanation it should work, but it doesnt for me

Another EDIT: Oooh i got it. UNcheck the boxes, thats what i did wrong. Thank you very much for this information!
