Thread: Did they hint at rogue class in 2.2 story?

There is the matter of implementing ROG/NIN. I'm hoping to make a new character that plays through from the start as a Rogue, and roleplay her to this effect, but the entire questiline with the arrival of Yugiri... How would that work? Would they have to ALTER that for someone that started as a Rogue? If Yugiri doesn't show up until level 50, would you then not be able to get a Job until after level 50?

I was pretty stoked by the teaser myself... but I think it would be unfair not to let people start as Rogue in Limsa because it finally balances the number of starting classes there are. If other jobs are introduced, I'd like to see a healer-type class appear in Ul'Dah and a tank class appear in Gridania, because then all city-states will have guilds for each of the 3 roles. (I know ACN doesn't start as a healer, but it can progress to one, and that's the main point, it's still a class that can act as healer in a pinch.)
