Low level roulette?

I wish they would open the low level roulette for premade groups. When somebody in my FC asks for help in a low level dungeon, not that many people answer them if they have their combat classes levelled to 50 already. If there was a 100 Myth reward, I am sure they would help more often.

And let's be honest, sometimes the low level dungeons take longer than the Level 50 ones because people in there are new to the dungeon. Yesterday I helped a mate from my FC and we spent mindnumbing 80 minutes in Temple of Quarn because the DD's did not understand the Death sentence mechanics from 1st boss although it was explained in detail and more than once.

As others have stated, the LL DR is to help newbies with dungeons they need. You get paid extra myth to put up with this. If you don't like it, find other ways of getting myth (or experience points in the case of folks with alts or those leveling sub classes). FC members should help each other cause that is what the FC is for, not because they are paid to.

The DR is in no way, shape, or form mandatory nor the only way to get into a dungeon.

Guess what OP, if you enter a dungeon with your gf as a tank and dps, you're probably going to enter right away AND you get to pick which dungeon you want to do! Bonus!!

Then they should make it to where if you are not level 50 then you can queue together. I see it as silly we cannot queue just to use it as a EXP device. The only reason I run it is for exp on a non level 50. I do not waste time using it as a myth source. It takes a whole run away from me and my friend using it to level alt classes.

This is a clear indicator on how people are that crazy focused on Duty Roulette and/or not willing to help low level mates.

WoW lets premade queue for daily dungeon runs this was one thing I do hate about the system on ff14. Me and my friend use low level to exp run for our other classes and we enjoy running dungeons together, Really is not cool that we have to not party.

I agree - all this doom and gloom people are predicting are largely from people who have no idea where these systems originated and how the growing pains have already been reported, sorted, and dealt with. There's no reason not to allow people to queue as a party if they want to play a random dungeon together. It's not going to add to queue times, because it doesn't add or take away people from being in the queue. If three people are going to queue, how does it matter whether they filter into three different parties or they fill one party? It's still one tank, one heal, one dps (or whatever the makeup ends up as).

This is just one of those things that arbitrarily forces you to NOT play an mmo with your friends. TOO MUCH emphasis is placed on playing with strangers in this game and I don't get it.

While I agree with most of what you said It does actually shrink the pool or at least the possible projected pool. For every +1 person that enters with a friend is -1 possibility that they will enter to que and have a chance to help out a new player and if that's four players in a premade that is -4 possibilities of helping newer players. At least with a three man group you would have the possibility of helping 1 new person, this is all assuming you actually get teamed with a new person in the group. Lets be honest here, most people would not even que for this if there was not a reward in the first place. (Unless leveling)

Adding onto that though. I have a new friend who started playing who does not understand why I cannot queue up with her when she does the low level routette after she gets to 15. She is playing to play with me so she does not find it as enjoyable to not be able to queue up with me. Yes I get it is RANDOM. But I see it more as RANDOM in choice of dungeon. I would rather have low level duty roulette be able to party up than expert or high level. The option for the player should be there. We should not be gated just cause.

Actually your not gated just cause, the bonus reward is aimed at a specific person, just like drops come from specific dungeons. So are you gated from battlemage gear because you have now out leveled it and don't want to go back? No but you will have to take the xp/kill hit from being above the level for it. It not a tool for leveling as much as it is an incentive, similar to the bonus in dungeons instead of low-mid level fate grinding.

Its a once a day bonus for HELPING other players. You will rarely, if ever, get a Dungeon in your own level range even when using the LL DR for an alt job above 30.
You and you friend wont lose anything by not doing it.
