Maybe the gold saucer chocobo content will make ranking up a bit less of an eternity?

Uhm they never said gold saucer or the end of the zodiac weapons would come with 2.4, for all we know it could be for expansion.
Shiva however is 2.4 content, they already said she wouldn't come with 2.3 but the story of 2.3 will serve as an opening for Shiva, and apparently they release a new primal each major update.

I'd say "No" on that. They said that Shiva's arc would be very long and carry over patches, leading eventually to the expansion. If we defeat her, I think it will be at the patch right before the expansion, which isn't coming that soon.
There are a lot of primals who could come before that, they aren't even to be worshiped by a tribe. What if the next primal after Ramuh was Phoenix ?
or a dragon primal ?
source6. Do the dragons of Dravania worship a primal? And if so, who? Is it Nidhogg? Midgardsormr? Someone else?
Yoshi-p dropped a few bombs last week revealing that both Midgardsormr and Nidhogg were not primals, but dragon ‘kings.’ However, he also revealed that the dragons are a beast tribe...and that beast tribes have their own gods (primals)... So...

I don't know why people think golden saucer is expansion content
http://gamerescape.com/2014/06/12/e3...oshida-part-1/GE: Do you have any updates for us regarding the Gold Saucer? We heard you wanted to get a few activities in and that it would be sometime after 2.3.
Yoshida: It’s still going to be sometime after 2.3. However what’s going into the Gold Saucer has already been finalized. We have the artwork up and we believe that once we’re able to show the artwork that the players will be pleasantly surprised. Everything is ready to go to start production and we hope to have it released soon, but again it will be after 2.3.
And we’re not limiting ourselves to what was in FF7, we’re going to use the whole Final Fantasy knowledge base and hopefully get a lot of different type of mini games that you’ve seen in other titles as well as FFVII.
http://gamerescape.com/2014/06/12/e3...oshida-part-2/GE: We know there will be a new zone released with Frontline. Can we expect to see anew new field areas before the expansion?
Yoshida: We are not planning on any new areas beyond the one for Frontline. One of the main reasons for this is that when you add a completely new area you need to have enough content to put into that area, and it is very difficult for a whole area to put in that content. However, if you call Gold Saucer a new area then you could say yes, we will be adding a new area. It’s pretty big what we have planned.

Ah, so coloring isnt till 2.35? Any idea when that will drop?

Well theoretically wouldnt u be able to master more than one additional tree since each rank gives more than one point? (rank 3 gives 3 points for example) so u could purchase more than one skill per level. Then again my chocobos only rank 4 so my understanding can be off.

Skill point requirement = skill points you earn.Well theoretically wouldnt u be able to master more than one additional tree since each rank gives more than one point? At rank 7 you get 7 points, but rank 7 skills cost 7 points
