If they were to ever make "Flying" mounts... I would want to see Gold Chocobo.

Limit flying mounts to expansion areas only (like in WoW, IIRC. I never played it but I remembered hearing about them), but if you're gonna have flying mounts, make a selection of 'em. And include gold chocobo... ^_^

If they do this, gold chocobo needs to be one of the rarer mounts.

Imo flying is one of the things I DONT wanna see in FF:ARR.
Even though an expansion will bring new maps - just don't make flying an option.
Also: Blizzard is thinking about REMOVING flying for the first few months in the new expansion (up until Patch 6.1 or so) and the players are banging their heads in, because one side is excited ("NO MORE FLYING!" - "Dude, you could have just not used a flying mount?") and "Omfg I'm not buying an expansion if they do that!".
So let's keep it on the earth...
