Not "gears"
I mean, really.
Not "gears"
I mean, really.
I call it equipment, armor, accessories or weapons. It's very situational.
This is a gear.

Gear is a noun.
Gears is a plural noun.
I don't see a problem here.
"Gears" is a plural noun when it's referencing interlocking toothed wheels.
When it's referencing clothing or equipment, the plural is just gear.
Well, consider the context.

While we're on the subject...
It's only women when you're talking about more than one, otherwise it's a woman.
I'll lose my head if I see someone using the word loose to refer to a loss.
When they have no idea how to use their grammar, they're obviously going to fail.
The effect of using this word incorrectly will affect your ability to communicate properly.
Now that we've played grammar 101 I feel somewhat better. I highly doubt that this will revolutionize the typing quality of the average forumite though.
I think we have a new one of "Those Guys"
Not The Rokiens but the "Look ma what Ah found"
