You will barely notice a difference, if at all. So load up on INT for your SMN, and heal on your SCH when you need to, and don't worry about it so much. Or if you're really stressing over it, put half in INT and half in MND, but seriously, the difference in your healing ability will be negligible if you put it all into INT for SMN.
    Marael is right here.

On a side note, if you really want to switch your stats: I have 9 The Keepers Hymn that is sitting on my character. (I'm all INT on my SCH/SMN combo)

OP - I would go with what you feel to like at the moment: You can always change your stats back and forth, it's easy to get these seals nowadays.

As some others, I leveled all classes, including crafters and gatherers to 50.

I am a Magic User Mainly in MMOs. and Demonologist. So Summoner was a perfect fit for me, until I realized me and my GF were waiting so long for queues to get into dungeons to 'have fun' I had to resort to Tank.

    Now my main is PLD.

--> Tell you what: Getting all jobs to 50 will give you a better understanding of the game, and why some players are moving/acting the way they do.

It will give you more power than just being a one class DPS that will bash on the few tanks and healers in the game, never putting on the heavy suit or the white gloves.

So since you are undecided, why not leveling them all?

This is an MMO: it's a time-sink investment, so if you play any, you have time for it.

Then I'm sure your Job will shine to you, even if by the time (about 3 months) NINJA will make it's way (Can't waittt!)

Good luck on your choices, but don't forget the most important thing of all: Have FUN!
