Hi there,
today I finished my atma hunter journey and I have an issue which I want to share with the developer and the current ATMA-Playerbase.
First of all, all gamer which got there 12 ATMA had I hard way to get the weapon. Therefore, the current random drop rate should not be changed, NEVER!!!!!!. This would be not fair to the current ATMA Player base. Based on this, we have two different Playerbases. A = Without ATMA and B = With ATMA and higher.
Now I want to talk about the ATMA Playerbase.
We all know that some of us got our ATMA very fast, around 10 hours, more or less. But some of uns spend far more then this 10 hours. What I have heard is extreme 40+ hours.
A gamer which got there ATMA piece every 30 min will never understand the pain of the gamer which spend 4 hours for one piece. Let me describe it in a other way.
We have to player which have the same gear and spend the same time and so on. Player one got his ATMA Set in 10 hours but gamer two in 40+ hours. Can you see the problem. The first player could spend his time for the books but the second player has not the opportunity to progress. And that is the point which is extremely unfair. Both player paid and spend the same effort to achieve there current state but player two will be let behind.
Therefor I suggest this.
The developer should look on the data and calculate this KPI.
Average ATMA-dropfate. This means, the result will be a distribution of the current ATMA-Playerbase and how much fates were done to get one ATMA. I think, the result will be not a normal curve of distribution. There will be a lot gamer which get every 10-20 fates there atma and some with 50+ fates. Time is not important because you have a chance of 2% (Example) to get an ATMA in a fate. Tip for the not ATMA-Base, you should do everything to do fate's very fast to expand the chance for a drop.
If I am right. Every gamer which has gone through this extreme effort 50+ fates to get one ATMA should get something for this.
WHY?
Based on my example the Player 2 could not progress due to this random factor but both paid for the same content and spend the same time before they did ATMA.
I am a BI Analyst and therefore to do something like that analyze (what i described) is my Job. If the developer needs more information i am willing to help.
