Concerns about the state of the game.

Hey, I am just curious for people\\'s opinions on the future of this game. The class/ job system is just horribly limiting and it sucks to get 5 skills for your job and it sucks that if you lvl the class to 50, and jobs branching off are allllll at 50.... It destroys longevity. No one will need to level things ever again. And the content they spit out seems to go obsolete in no time. I just came back to the game after a while and already no one is doing garuda, ifrit, labyrinthe, titan, t1, t2.... This is all supposed to be endgame stuff but apparently it\\'s done with? Your only hope for that content is to use df.... This kind of stuff makes me nervous. How will the game survive and continue to be fun when content is swallowed and excreted and done with a month after release?

I am wondering how others feel about this. I can only pray an expansion could solve these problems but so much would need reworking I highly doubt they will change that much.

It's great. If people only come here to do high end raids till they get their gear then sit around twiddling their thumbs then that's on them. SE has more demographics to cater to in the game all of whom like and want different things from the game.

I think the pace of content has been awesome and I'm very happy with the current state of it. Each point update has been solid and even the half point updates have brought substantial QoL changes and new features. 3.0 is said to have as much content as 2.0 had so things are gonna bet even bigger really soon.

I have more than enough to keep me busy, sold gear, animus, beast quests, choco lvling, commerce. Being part of the economy is more rewarding for me than most things in the game and I probably have enough gil to buy a large house when they hit. The more you get involved with the MMO world the better your experience will be. Come here for the latest ipeen gear only and your time will be short lived and shallow IMHO.

people are still doing ct, mostly for vanity i guess. was in there 2 times as bard this weekend, less than 20mins waittime.

You have to realize that posts like the OP's are becoming very tired for the majority of Forum Goers on almost any Gaming Website (even for games such as Dungeons and Dragons and Magic the Gathering which have been around for decades, since before even World of Warcraft at that, but are still plagued by this kind of thing). So really seeing this kind of post on a game that isn't even a year old yet is kind of annoying.
