[Theory] Alexandrite drop rate

Just pointing this out from my own experience. I have managed to get 1 Alex within an hour of doing fates.

All this was done within the hour:

I got one from Northen T. At 00:43
I got one from cohertas at 07:51
I got one mor dhona at 22:16

(No luck from anywhere else doing it or spending hours somewhere else. It seems it drops faster in high lvl zone)

I'm in the UK so Gmt time.

Would be good if people could post the time and area from they got their drop so we might be able to figure something out.

No such thing honestly.
U r meant to keep grinding ur eyes out for ungodly hours till u get enough drops.

For atmas I followed tha Japanese drop rate theory according to area and indeed it work for me I got all my atmas within 2 days. So I'm sure there must be something into it that makes Alex drops higher. If u don't try or research you will never know.

Still discussing the Japanese ATMA theory although even the Producer said it is all random? I like to go with Mr. Freud. Sometimes is cigar is just a cigar.

My experiences from Alexandrite drops so far: various maps, various times, 0 drops. Woo hoo.

I'm now only getting drops from Northern Thanalan. I got 4 drops yesterday within 5ish hours.

Same for me, i followed the "guide" and got each Atma after the 2nd or 3rd FATE and finished the whole grind in one and a half days. Why not the same with Alexandrite?

Maybe just bcoz the guide didn't work for many ppl....
Btw there are 2 guides, one is each hour for each atma, another one is dynamically switching area around every 15minutes,
could you let me know which guide worked for you?

Random is random. I did the japanese time theory and didn't get Atma any quicker.

Just for a confirmation, do I need to do anything in order to get alexandrites from fates?

I have Animus equipped, and gotten the inks. I already collected 9 alexandrites so far, but nothing from fates.
