A proper looting system?

Now that we have raids and gear that everyone wants is dropping from them. Why wasn't a proper looting system implemented? Or even a /roll command? I don't see any point in just randomly giving the loots to people.

What just happened was that some mage boots dropped in Darkhold, there were 2 mages, they were given to the other mage who was R49, but not to the other mage who was R50, I have no idea if a R49 can even wear those boots as they are R50. So, I suggested that we'd roll for them, but the mage just kept them as in "ninjad" without being even fair about them and not saying a word afterwards. So.. please, a looting system, thanks. Let's make this game fair for everyone.

I was thinking the same thing.. giving the loot randomly isn't the way to do it. I'm sure we can see this in the future patches... it's just a matter of time
