It would be really neat if daily/weekly there was a global challenge across the server for the largest fish of different categories caught. This would encourage players to cast lines every so often and at the end of the day/week results would be posted and rewards mailed out. There could even be categories for number of times mooched, etc.

Similar to the challenge log, however this wouldn't be just by one player, but all players who have fished during that period of time. And if the fish were in different categories. Fresh small, medium, large, mythic, saltwater small... etc... then more people could have an opportunity. And perhaps prizes would be rewarded to multiple people, (top 20) in any given category.

To keep one player from dominating, users could only claim one prize per week.
