Yep. Same problem here as of this morning. Worked fine last night, logged off. And now this. Tried all suggestions above and still nothing.

We are aware of two such programs; "Savings Bull" and "Quick Knowledge" which have been known to cause these issues but other malicious programs may also be causing your issue.
To solve this issue, please uninstall these programs, should you find them on your system, and be sure to regularly scan your computer for any unwanted programs or infections."

The one on mine was called SupraSaver.

Take a look through your control panel and see if there's any program with those names, or any program that's suspicious. Run a scan with your antivirus, and if it can't pick anything up, download AdwCleaner, have it scan and then delete any adware it detects. It will reboot your computer to complete the removal. After your computer has restarted, open task manager (ctrl + alt + del) and look through the processes for the name of anything above (for example, it was suprasaver.exe for me) or any other suspicious program you found. If you find the name, stop the process. Then try starting up your game again. That's what worked for me, although I ran Adwcleaner and rebooted a few times.
Thanks a lot. Had this problem for quite a few days now and found SupraSaver running(Look in "Show processes from all users", It'll say it's under SYSTEM user name). Once I ended it, the launcher started right up. Thanks so much!

Logging in fine till the 2.3 patch update and got this exact string of errors. I thought it was related to malware. But I searched all the processes installed and ran a system scan and came up nada. What prevented me from downloading the patch was my firewall, I'm using Bitdefender, I turned it off and voila no more unable to complete version check. I was playing the game fine till this patch. Go figure. ><

Same for me. Have been logging in fine until this patch. Had to turn off my firewall to get the launcher to run.

I have the same problem [30605][20448][10009][10019]. I was able to play up until the 2.3 update and then nothing. I've run scans for viruses and checked for adware. I have neither. Now I'm at a loss and unable to play.

I read what Kairobot said. I also have bitdefender and the firewall of it was keeping Final Fantasy from running the update. I'm good to go now!

For everyone having issues, and those who know it isn't malware or the config files(like me) i fixed this by using vpnbook. turns out my isp randomly decided to block ffxiv's update servers. google vpnbook and use the openvpn configs they have and it works just fine

    Headache

And the problems have nothing to do with adware or anything like that I am having same issues and I am on PS4. Game worked great until the new 2.3 patch. Now i am getting kicked after about 10 to 15 min of game play. Don't release a patch if your not sure its going to screw with your game??? Just got to 50 and now the game is damn near unplayable. Can't run any dungeons because I keep getting kicked go figure.. What a waste of time it has been.
