You think this is the first mmo the op ever played :P this is how life works even in a real life job you may work your butt off only to see the kiss ass get a raise. So be happy this is only a game![]()
Doesn't even have to be a kiss ass. Generally you just have to be hot, likable, and not completely incompetent, and even then if you have the first two the third is negotiable.
LOL this is so true I've seen someone be the reason we wiped 10+ times and he always gets the loot.. Sometimes before the fight ends i will die.. and 85 percent of the time it works

Healed Levi fight a couple of days ago, SCH had High Allagan Grimoire. They died at least once during the fight and notably weren't anything special. They walked out with an Enbarr. I still disagree on the leader loot though, if you want guaranteed or fair loot you need a static.

About a month ago I ran a Turn 2 in Duty finder, as soon as the fight started a summoner d/c'd, stayed disconnected until right before the ADS pull, got locked out, died won both rolls. About two hours later got in another group with the same summoner, right after the fight started mystically d/c'd, reconnected right before ADS was pulled, got locked out, died, but this time at least didn't win anything.

Group should have kicked the smn for being offline.About a month ago I ran a Turn 2 in Duty finder, as soon as the fight started a summoner d/c'd, stayed disconnected until right before the ADS pull, got locked out, died won both rolls. Oh right, my mistake! Geez that's a dirty trick.
Reminds me of the master looter trick I saw one particular pug raid leader use. Chest would open, leader would go mysteriously LD. He would wait about 5 mins then reconnect (before timer was done, but after most or all of the raid would have left the instance). Voila! All loot to leader. He got so notorious that he ended up getting black listed by most raiders on his server and soon could no longer put groups together. But in that game df was one-server only.
