No more Vote Kick system

Whenever someone disconnects in dungeon, it's just common courtesy to ask the others before initiating a kick.

Aye. During a Stone Vigil run (one of THE BEST runs, I will add), the BRD lost connection and we waited for them to return... a solid forty minutes we waited, since we were all having a nice conversation of sorts. At the forty minute mark, we initiated the vote kick. Long overdue, sure, but hey; we had fun talking during the wait (we also figured the BRD gave up trying to log back in after ten minutes. Only natural to think your party would have kicked you by then, yeah? If only that BRD knew we waited...).

I think what she is saying is when she tries to use it, it always fails but when its used against her for whatever reason, it always sticks and she gets kicked.

To the OP: I'm sorry you have had a bad string of experiences with the vote kick, but removing it is not the answer. Like so many others have said, we really do need it. It keeps an even worse element out of everyone's (including yours) game experiences. Hope things get better

Seriously don't votekick someone for DCing wait at least 10min, it's common sense and good manners, if you kill the stones i'll clap at you, most ranged dps and casters understand this mechanic but others don't, and if you're in bray with 2 monks pull 1 by 1 unless you think the group can handle more, half-pulls max.

I got votekicked just once, in less than a min after DCing, i was tanking, bad for them.

Say I enter a dungeon on my daily roulette and alt-tab and watch some movie waiting for the party to finish it without me doing anything. What exactly are you going to do about it without a vote kicking feature?

I kinda wished there were repurcustions for misuse of it, I was being told how to do something in halatali hard because I wasn't doing what they were trying to tell me (not very clear on how btw) so I got kicked my Wife saw "Vote Kick:Cheating" pop up, then told me about it (yes we were partying together), then the other day she said "I know someone that wont get my commendation" about a monk aggroing Valafor because we decided to take the elementals first he spammed "Vote kick:Harrassment" at lest 6 times in 45 seconds then they booted her I couldn't even get a vote kick on him he was doing it soo much, so yeah if they removed it I wouldn't miss it, but they should perma ban people that do abuse it.

the vote kick in theory is good but people that use it or abuse it to be exact arent matured enough to actually handle this kind of tool, which is why we have the problems we have. There is no accountability for fallacious reasons to boot someone, if there were, I assure you you would see far less kicks for no reasons ESPECIALLY those that party together and when they see soon the end and know they can handle it alone boot the one that is alient and not part of their small community.

Unfortunately, without sanctions is anarchie anarchie leads to chaos...and in many and more ways this game is heading towards chaos.

Either you are the most unlucky person ever, or you are lying on one of you statements. Or it can be both.

If it smells like Couerl droppings everywhere you go. Maybe check under your own boot.

I too got vote kicked once. Not completely unjustified (also not completely justified). Did I get angry at the system? No.

Without Votekick these times were fun:
Pharos pre nerf. Tank: Oh I don't like this dungeon. I will just AFK. WP. Tank gets in a fit because BLM used LB on Pudding and not one shotting it with it. "Have fun with waiting, I will go out eat dinner."
Lists of incidents like that go on and on

Just give the Votekick initiator a Cooldown. Long enough he can't spam it, short enough it doesn't get a nuisance. It is stated that its logged and misuse will be punished. Maybe really do that. If someone initiates vote kicks REALLY often, and really seems to spam it, look into it.

Me and all of my LS friends never see a vote kicked once. This type of thing is supposed to be rarely used in an extremely case, how come it happen to you often? Does it related to your own mindset about how you speak that you want vote kick cool down to be less ?

sounds to me OP has temper issues and like to blame everyone for everything, even vote to kick system
