No more Vote Kick system

the vote kick in theory is good but people that use it or abuse it to be exact arent matured enough to actually handle this kind of tool, which is why we have the problems we have. There is no accountability for fallacious reasons to boot someone, if there were, I assure you you would see far less kicks for no reasons ESPECIALLY those that party together and when they see soon the end and know they can handle it alone boot the one that is alient and not part of their small community.

Unfortunately, without sanctions is anarchie anarchie leads to chaos...and in many and more ways this game is heading towards chaos.

Either you are the most unlucky person ever, or you are lying on one of you statements. Or it can be both.

If it smells like Couerl droppings everywhere you go. Maybe check under your own boot.

I too got vote kicked once. Not completely unjustified (also not completely justified). Did I get angry at the system? No.

Without Votekick these times were fun:
Pharos pre nerf. Tank: Oh I don't like this dungeon. I will just AFK. WP. Tank gets in a fit because BLM used LB on Pudding and not one shotting it with it. "Have fun with waiting, I will go out eat dinner."
Lists of incidents like that go on and on

Just give the Votekick initiator a Cooldown. Long enough he can't spam it, short enough it doesn't get a nuisance. It is stated that its logged and misuse will be punished. Maybe really do that. If someone initiates vote kicks REALLY often, and really seems to spam it, look into it.

Me and all of my LS friends never see a vote kicked once. This type of thing is supposed to be rarely used in an extremely case, how come it happen to you often? Does it related to your own mindset about how you speak that you want vote kick cool down to be less ?

The main issue I see about vote kicks is when trolls and/or "I do what I want mentality" duo or trio queue up and grief people with their mentality. Honestly I don't know a good fix for trio queue griefing, but a place to start is to give them a vote value of one total.

So if it's a duo troll if the other 2 don't want one of them they can vote over them 2 to 1 vs them having immunity because they're together. With trio troll it'll be a 1 to 1 tie. The problem with that is people will have problems if the solo queue will have "too much power", but the trio troll has too much themselves. Unless someone has a a better fix and not avoiding the problem like suggesting pf or inviting, this to me would give a more fighting chance towards this rise of troll grouping.

Did you try to vote kick someone as soon as they went offline? If yes, I can see why it didn't pass, even I would vote no.

For the second, you can prevent it from happening to someone else by reporting the abuser.

i play this game a bunch and it's very rare to ever use vote kick. i think i may have had it come up 4-5 times that i've actually had to vote. i think i've initiated it once since it came in. why? the timers to refil the party takes too long so in most cases it's easier to deal with the person already in the group.

quite honestly, if you are getting kicked that often it seems as though there is a common theme in it. maybe the reason you get kicked so much is you.

also, as others have stated dungeons were a nightmare before the kick option was placed in. tanks coming in and sitting at an entrance to a dungeon the entire run.

I vote keep vote kick in, want an example.
Low level roulette, get in and the tank refuses to tank and wants to go afk whilst we kill ifrit, we said no so he repeatedly wiped us over and over,
When vote kick did eventually come up, he was kicked instant, and we ended up three manning it.
So no, if vote kick wasn't there, I'd of had to leave queue and reque and unlike the tank, DPS aren't instant que

Those are abuses of the vote kick system. You should have reported them if that's the whole story. What do you suggest happen in the cases they are actually needed?

Problem is, the system seems to be abused far more than it is used for it's intended purpose. I mean how many time's have you been unable to continue a dungeon because someone went AFK for an hour, honestly?

During a Stone Vigil run (one of THE BEST runs, I will add), the BRD lost connection and we waited for them to return... a solid forty minutes we waited, since we were all having a nice conversation of sorts. At the forty minute mark, we initiated the vote kick. Long overdue, sure, but hey; we had fun talking during the wait (we also figured the BRD gave up trying to log back in after ten minutes. Only natural to think your party would have kicked you by then, yeah? If only that BRD knew we waited...).
