Since I am sitting here crying into my cups waiting for a chance to join my linkshell in Darkhold (Thank you SE for so generously lowering party limits from 15-8 and not giving us alliances, it has been such a blessing for organizing our linkshell's events ばか)... as I promised in our oh so pleasant gratuitous diatribe on xenophobia, here is the list of phrases I often use to help me in communicating with our fellow players from Japan. Much credit goes to whoever wrote the original list I borrowed heavily from during my time in XI.

Do you speak Japanese? - Nihongo ga dekimasuka? / 日本語　（にほんご） が　できますか？
Do you speak English? - Eigo ga dekimasuka? / えいご　が　できますか？
Please say it in English – Eigo de itte kudasai / えいご　で　いって　ください
I speak a little of Japanese. - Nihongo chotto shaberemasu. / 日本語 （にほんご）　ちょっと　しゃべれます。
I know a little Japanese – Nihongo wo chotto shittemasu.　/ 日本語　を　ちょっと　しってます。
