What's the best way to go about getting my Relic weapon?

So I am at the part in the quest, where you have to meld the materia to the scepter. (BLM relic) but I need a lvl 50 Goldsmith to do so.
My smith is level 18 so I have a ways to go to meld it myself.
What would be a good way to get someone to help me? Keep asking my FC and/or yelling out for help? If someone was to help me with the meld, how much am I looking to fish over for gil roughly?

just shout in major city, just make sure you have all the stuff you need for the meld (relic host weapon, mats, carbon matters) before you shout

I do melds for people who ask for them in shout all the time. I tell them there's no flat rate, but tips are appreciated. For relic melds they usually tip me 2-5k, and I'm more than fine with that.

Just shout, make sure you have the mats and include in the shout what class is needed to meld it. I'm more likely to come meld something if the shout also says where in town you are standing.

Personally I just check the marketboard for premelded host weapons, and for each of the 4 relics I've obtained, the melded weapons have been roughly 120k. Checking the prices without, and also the cost for materia, it quickly became apparent (at least on my server) that I was losing nothing by buying this way and forgoing finding a craftsman to help me out. If you happen to have the requisite materia and/or weapon, obviously your situation maybe different, but I suggest trying the simplest route first.

I shouted for my first, and now that I have most crafts at 50 I respond to such shouts whenever I see them. Personally I'll do it for free, but I won't refuse a tip.

I free meld for anyone shout for relic-meld, but almost eveytime, I have to give carbon matters for free..... ^^;

Yeah, shout in city. I don't expect tips. Some do, some don't. It is easy/painless to do it. You can either "request meld" when you meet the crafter (just step through the GUI, have the pre-relic weapon, materia and grade 3 carbonized matter on you). Or you can trade it to the person (but the first method is safer).
