    Whispering Shards

    I couldn't find anything posted about it and none of the people I've asked seem to know so I thought I would ask here.

    If you listen the smaller aethernet shards in all the main cities seem to "whisper" and I was wondering what/why this is? The larger aetheryte crystals don't make these sounds and I don't believe the shards you can place at your company houses do either.

    So far as I can sell, both the aethernet shards and the Aetheryte in Gridania hum. I don't know why, but I guess it has to do with being a construct?

    Yes, the large aetheryte shards hum and kind of sounds like chimey music. The smaller aethernet shards however have a higher pitch whistling sound and then sounds that sound like inaudible speech, almost kind of creepy...
