Games need more of this crazy misadventurer Side stories that give you a good laugh becuase game start to feel a bit stale if it 90% serious storyline all the time.

It good to lighten the mood and take a break from all those serious business moments in the game's main, class, job, and side storylines.

DoH/DoL class quests don't seem to be that serious. I am almost done with weaver (lvl 47), and I've enjoyed it a lot. I hope he gets the girl!

Glad to see a positive thread. I agree, I just like playing the game. Even though I am beating T9 I still like to even just hang out and do random stuff. Beautiful graphics sometimes have me just walking around looking at crap for no reason lol. Can't wait for them to get going and add lots more fun things to do. (LOTS MORE SIDEQUESTS LIKE HILDEBRAND HINT HINT lol)

I have to say that I found this game far better than I could have imagined when I started several months ago. Didn't guess that I keep subscribed for this long as with even WoW my interests wore off after couple off months. While this game doesn't have so awesomely large overworld stuff like other games, I find it satisfying that those areas don't get too tiring to me. In WoW for example there was too much to explore that in the end I would just ignore running the wilds and instead did mainly just dungeons and BGs.

This game feels more specialized in a way and the fact I can level multiple classes, micromanage stuff (like retainers), plus depth of crafting classes makes me feel that I have more control over things. In the end that stuff has kept me interested more longer than I first thought, and I hope it stays so.

I have started leveling crafting classes like and I'm rediscovering the world (and the game itself). Looking for nodes gets you to explore every inch of the map. I have also started to use Chocobo porters, hiding all bars and just enjoying the scenery. So pretty!

All in all, my only complaints about the game are petty. I look forward to playing every chance I get.

I only started doing FATEs when I was Atma hunting and I never paid much attention to them because I only cared about the drop. The way the books are structured is a lot better, since I have only 3 to focus at a time and I can read all the text and enjoy them in their entirety.

Now I have started to not care about them again since I enjoy leveling up through dungeons more. If they allowed your chocobo to get exp from FATEs, I'd have a reason to go back to them again. I only stop and do one if I see someone's alone and struggling these days.

Im assuming many people here that find this game fun, also have no problem with building a character thats an exact clone of the rest.

So much fun to grind boring content focused mainly on queueing for everything, so that in the end you're rewarded with a clone of everyone else's character.
