SMN Food for level 50

Crafting or buying won't be an issue. What are the best food choices for SMN for level 50 / post game? Am I looking for Critical, Spell speed, Determination? Not sure here to maximize. If running coil, I'll probably get some accuracy food, but what about just running Bflax HM or another level 50 dungeon? Curious to hear some feedback on this, as always appreciate any helpful tips.

Food for SMN in endgame is dependent on the amount of accuracy you need. If you are quite a bit short of cap, it is best to go with HQ Lava Toad Legs (max +27), next would be HQ Apkallu Omelette (max +11). If you are at the accuracy cap for what you are running, HQ Black Truffle Risotto is the best.

I don't quite recall what all the stats are on the foods, but I do know the order. You might check the Lodestone DB for more stat info.

I just noticed you were referring to dungeons. For the most part, food is unnecessary for anything but Coil.

Just to be clear...

Food does not affect your Egi's accuracy. So if you're only trying to hit your personal accuracy cap (in Coil), then accuracy food will help. But it won't help you reach the 470, 480, 491, 490 accuracy needed for Garuda in turns 6, 7, 8, and 9 respectively.

With that knowledge, I've always geared for accuracy in Coil. And then I use food for Crit, Det, and Vit while I'm in there.

As for regular dungeons... there is no need for food. But if you choose to eat food, you will also go for Crit, Det, and Vit.

Button in the blanket! Critical + Determination + Vit is the final

If you are Master Chief (able to cook 2 stars food)

I recommend the best of best of best food, Black Truffle Risotto!! no question, no doubt, just eat it and get the feel of overpowered!

and OF COURSE, must be HQ ONLY, no NQ junk food

Accuracy Food is just waste, its not help boost Pet accuracy (as others people report)

Determination is SMN focus stat.

Buttons in a Blanket (Black Truffle Risotto if you actually have the stats for it to exceed Buttons) is the only DPS food for any job worth considering unless you for some reason need the accuracy from Deviled Eggs/Apkallu Omelette or Stuffed Cabbage/Lava Toad Legs.

Though honestly it's hard to notice the DPS gains from one food or another. You're usually doing it for the VIT (or, as mentioned, accuracy if it was needed).
