    Fluid Aura > Stone 1

Fluid Aura knocks back and stuns for a few seconds. If I hit mob with stone 1, it takes mob out of stun, but doesn't apply heavy. This has never made sense to me. The best use of FA, imo, is for low levels to knock danger out of the way, and then slow them down from getting in your face again. As is, any attack makes the mob get right in your face again, pretty much negates the whole knockback.

All other theories about right and wrong uses for FA aside, this is just a mechanic that makes no sense to me, and has always seemed like an oversight.

Bind overwrites Heavy, but Heavy does not overwrite Bind. The first hit from Stone 1 knocks Bind off and gets "no effect" from the heavy.

It's not so much an oversight as it is poor design; Fluid Aura should do Stun instead of Bind for this to properly work.

It's not so much as poor design as them not wanting you to be able to just spam bind > heavy > bind > heavy a la ffxi rdm.

You can't really spam fluid aura. I realize there are several options after binding them, but for a low lvl healer that might want to kite using heavy......
It's not that big a deal, I just never understood why stone 1 applies heavy except in that most useful situation. I guess I would just like them to change it.

Thanks Seravi, that explanation makes sense, even if it is bad design. (not your explanation...I'm tired, you know what I mean)

Time your Stone to land the second the Bind wears off. Otherwise just let your Dots tick and heal while you wait on the bind. Or cast Stone 2 to break and swiftcase Stone

Fluid aura is a good and terrible friend. It is great for solo stuff all the time - knockback then sleep. But for party stuff... It's excellent as a boost in DPS during clerics, but make sure you know what enemies will knock-back and which ones won't. Cause that gets annoying.
