Black List needs to be Unlimited

I think there should just be a separate list for spammers.

At least for me, I clear off the RMT on my blist when I log on every night, usually the ones I blisted the day before is no longer around.

I only have 8 names on my blist right now, and none of them are RMTs. Sure it will grow a bit over the night but I will delete all the RMT when I log on tomorrow.

I feel your pain. RMT tells get on my last nerve to. Unfortunately this would eventually block every possible name for new players to use. There have been ideas to combat this from these forums. My personal favorite is a 2 second delay before another tell can be sent (RMTs use a program that sends a tell to everyone on a server all at the same exact second.)

Many other games have an option to report that auto-sends a spam report, and puts that character on a blacklist that is not part of your blacklist so that it doesn't grow your list and cause these problems. This is the solution we need to be asking for.

Whoa I wish lol. I got a holy moly crap ton of RMT-ers in my b-list.

Honestly I didnt kno there was a limit but if there is I must b getting close. I add one or 2 every other time I log in. Gilgamesh must just b bad.

I don't mind having 200/200 blacklisting opportunities. What I mind is the fact that Square Enix hasn't given us a "Clear All" function to quickly delete all of these spammers and start filling our 200/200 list again. Deleting them one by one is painfully slow and inefficient.

Please use the search feature on the forum. This topic continues to pop up with a new thread frequently. We all know the pain of the RMTs, its one thing SE has had little action on. But I'm sure it will be resolved one day, because of how much of a bother it is. It's only a matter of time.

I just turn off my /tells in general tab and magically don't get any mostly in FC/LS chat so /t I rarely if ever use it.
