The Novus grind is getting easier...but the Animus...isn't...?

It's not *really* getting easier.

If you want your Alexandrites, it sounds like you have to purchase those instead of sands/oils/other gear with your hunt rewards. I guess it's nice to have that *option* if you really want it, but i'm probably going to get the other stuff.

With that said, Atma is the reason I will not be doing a 2nd animus/novus for another class until that changes. After my first novus, I'll be earning myth and can do the daily for alexandrites anyway, so it would make sense to slowly work on a 2nd one for another class. However, the atma grind is awful and requires a lot of effort outside of things I would already be doing.

And this is precisely where I'm getting at. Novus quest? Why not? It's an expert roulette every day no more than that. Animus book quest? Why not? A dungeon here, a fate there...but going back to kill level 2 flans with ruins for the next 50 hours, AGAIN...............ARGHFFFFF!? I want to grind for stuff, I really want to, and I DON'T mind a second Novus, but for the love of god SE...

You do like 4x the brayflox runs for your animus that you do for the Novus. I mean ffs.

sch + smn + quick respawn fate = lolz atma. Ended up with 3-5x of 7 different atma in the past 2 weeks. + a couple 2x.

I wonder if it ever occurred to some that you don't NEED to farm Brayflox HM for your Animus. All people need to do is run their daily roulettes and/or beastmen dailies to get the right amount of myth. The rest is up to how people want to spend their time.

True but at that rate you will never actually finish the quest before there is already another step to the quest. Unless they slow way down.
