Heya guys,

Just wanted to know you thoughts on this when I watched the new patch 2.3 Vid.

At the end, there's a few seconds showing this..

Does that means the player base is getting fewer and fewer?

Or is it just SE's way of trying to get back the player's attention about the new content?

In any case I'm happy for the new stuff. Chocobo raising seems fun hehehe

If the old players have like a free long weekend only, I doubt it will give them the oomph they need to sub back.

If they give something akin to veteran rewards, hopefully they'll give it to existent players as well, it would be silly if that stuff is awesome, and we have to stop playing to get it ^^

They did the same for 2.1, the population is still standing strong.. even with the releases of ESO and Wildstar

SE has long acknowledged that some people will devour content faster than they can put it out. As such, those people will leave for something else until the patch comes. This campaign is a way to make sure those people don't forget to come back.

Classic "foot-in-the-door" sales pitch. People who play the game will tell their friends and people who have been gone for a month or more can rekindle themselves with the game for no extra charge. It's a win-win situation. Unfortunately I might not be on any longer as my static has fallen to pieces and I only live for end game coil. Yes, I'm that 2% Hardcore and yes, I'm nice lol.
