Problems with SMN Resurrection Spell Usage

Well first off you shouldn't even need to be casting resurrection unless one or both healers go down. Healers should be able to keep everyone up otherwise they're not doing there job properly. And in this instance that you mentioned if they can't dodge a simple mechanic then it's their fault and if the healers (assuming one scholar and one white mage) can't keep the party up then they're bad healers.

This so much. While I don't see the problem with res people as a SMN, I do see the problem with being put on res duty and having consistently res people who refuse to dodge colorful circles of death because they feel that finishing their combo or rotation is more important. Simply put, move your a** out the colorful circle of death. Again, granted that I am very understanding of lag/ping issues that cause severe delays, but if I have to consistently res you then I will leave there to rot and I will not res you. I will not pick up slack for people who don't try. I don't mind res people because it is a skill given to my unique DPS job. However, don't think that my res are free and that MP is certainly not and issue. Though I usually never cast ruin 2 unless I'm forced to move around, my res is only in the case of both healers going down or tank(s) or when a DPS dies and the healers can't get to the DPS to res them. I'm not going to just stand idly by in any raid instance and sit on res duty (wait until someone dies and then res them) because that is not the primary motive of playing DPS. My job is to kill and I will take pleasure in killing the enemy as my job dictates.
