Problems with SMN Resurrection Spell Usage

But then the problem come when people try and put me on res duty in some parties and then people constantly die and expect me to consistently res you even after you die multiple times. I have seen people just standing in stuff because they know that they will be res if they go down. My primary job as a SMN is DPS not healing or res anyone unless both healers go down. I haven't been in a situation where both healers went down but I have when one healer went down or the tank went down. Then I would swift cast res the healer and try and heal them and then with what I have left try to res the tank. But when people consistently die and think that the SMN can simply res and has a large MP pool then that is quite frustrating and I won't be bothered with it. There are a lot of AOEs that are avoidable and a lot of unavoidable AOEs and while I know that there are some jobs with sucky MDEF, the stuff that is avoidable you should learn not to stand in colorful circles lol.

Note: I do agree that I should res people which I have no problem with. But again, the probelm is consistently res people and then being put on res duty in some parties. Though I am not trying to sound like I am complaining about anything, I just don't understand why do people feel like they don't have to avoid avoidable AOE dmg when they see healers and SMNs in the party with an active res ability. I don't mind res people once or maybe even twice, but when you consitently die then that is disturbing because then it starts to eat into my MP. Apart from which could be spent trying to physic people who the healer may have missed and really needed the healing or trying to res a tank or healer who went down. DPS should know that they should not stand in colorful circles of death lol. I have been having this problems with a lot of low lvl parties in the DF and then even sometimes in high lvl parties in the PF. Its become a nuisance honestly.
