Something interesting to note about 3 star crafts - if you're a 4-star crafter, you no longer need Ingenuity II. Two Piece by Piece, Standard Synthesis, and two Careful Synthesis II will finish the craft.
This frees up 17 CP for more funsies.

This one may be useful for the 4* crafters with 353+ CP (i.e. no food needed):
2* 80 Dura 1 button macro. (No guard against poor for BB if done as 1 button)

May be better ones, but I wanted a fast 2* macro for making x-pots and made this a bit quick.
Should also work for any other 80 dura (non housing) recipe below 2*, but it's a bit over kill![]()

I think You actually posted this in a different thread somewhere, and I've been using it. Or at least something similar.
I've got one-touch 1* 40, 1* 80 Dur, 2-touch 2* 80. The original 1*80 I think now works on some 2* 80 stuff, but not everything. I've been thinking of working out a better macro for making the Aritsan Primary trade in materials. That's what my two-touch macro does, but that macro is only resulting in 96-98% Quality a lot of the time, so there might not be any hope for improvement. (Assuming Fully melded Artisa, with i55 Class Main hand, artisan non-melded off hand.)
Mind, if I went ahead and melded my body pieces and full melded all of my artisan off hands . . . . it might be a different story, and I might be able to one-touch HQ the items instead of 2-touch . . . .but then. . . with Artisan/Artisan, Body melded: Crafts IV Crafts IV, Control III, Control II, off hand Control IV, eating Chilled Popoto Soup, I can HQ all my 4* Crafts. So why bother full melding. . . . hmmm. . . .
Ah, yes! And that's where my 'something similar' came from. I remember now I had to edit your macros to remove those to get them to run exactly how I wanted.
Also, since you're in here, I updated a post in a different thread defending some of your points. Hopefully you see it :P
Scarebearz, this sequence is parsed slightly better than yours according to http://www.ffxivcrafter.com and it uses the same number of steps, the same skills, and has the same CP cost:
/ac "Inner Quiet" <wait.2>
/ac "Steady Hand II" <wait.2>
/ac "Basic Touch" <wait.3>
/ac "Innovation" <wait.2>
/ac "Basic Touch" <wait.3>
/ac "Basic Touch" <wait.3>
/ac "Advanced Touch" <wait.3>
/ac "Great Strides" <wait.2>
/ac "Steady Hand" <wait.2>
/ac "Ingenuity II" <wait.2>
/ac "Advanced Touch" <wait.3>
/ac "Great Strides" <wait.2>
/ac "Byregot's Blessing" <wait.3>
/ac "Careful Synthesis II" <wait.3>
/ac "Careful Synthesis II" <wait.3>
This should also have slightly more success when dealing with poors as the BB gives a smaller percentage of the final total. The penalty for a poor is 50%, so if I'm doing this right, my rotation on a poor BB gives an 83% chance, and on a poor AT before the BB, I get a 93% chance (poor on both is not possible since they are 2 steps away). A single poor in any other spot gives 100%. With yours, a poor BB gives a 39% HQ chance, a poor on the last AT before BB gives a ~94% chance, and a poor on the first AT gives a ~96%. Any other spot gives a 100%.
So, up to you which you want to use. Mine is my one-button, no-food go-to for all my 1* and 2* 80-dur needs.

Looks decent, will probably stick with what i'm using, simply because it's never failed me yet and too lazy to swap it![]()
While we already have a 100% 1 star 80 dura rotation, i would also like to add mineThe different in this rotation is they require only 326 craftmanship, 325 control and 351 CP (I use Stone Soup to reach the CP requirement which is very cheap). All LQ mats.
macro 1:
macro 2:/echo Check Food (>351CP), need WN, Ingenuity, Innovation
/ac "Comfort Zone" <wait.2>
/ac "Inner Quiet" <wait.2>
/ac "Careful Synthesis II" <wait.3>

Player
Saved for later thanks!![]()
I made mine a long time ago before i had 4 star stats. Relied on having BiS CP + Stone Soup (from npc, i just keep a couple stacks on hand always).
371 CP required, 2 steps over being 1 button press. 90% even on a Poor for BB.
CZ > IQ > SH II > 3x BT > GS > Adv. T > GS > SH > Adv. T > GS > ING II > INNO > BB > 2x CS II
Control requirement is 318, CP requirement is 372, craftsmanship requirement is to be able to complete in 2 steps; i believe that was 3 star.
I don't know if there is a more efficient 2 star macro out there but i doubt it because the only way i could have made it better was to have used crafted food and why waste that when there is stone soup for 37gil.
@Nyalia Please stop using FFXIVcrafter as a source, most of the progress and quality steps are wrong by just a little bit, if you're going to use anything, use http://ffxiv.lokyst.net/.
