How do I use Contagion?

Literally... I can't use Contagion. LOL. I have my pet under Obey. I cast Bio II, Miasma, Bio, then Fester. I want to use Contagion but the icon stays darkened and is not an option. What do I need to do? TIA.

Are you absolutely sure your pet's on Obey? When your pet's on Sic the options will be grayed out. I don't recall if it's the same story with Steady. Another thing I can think of, which may seem like a dumb second question but, you ARE using Garuda-Egi right? Skills will also be grayed out if you have Ifrit or Titan out and have Garuda skills on your hotbar

Double check and make sure you're setting your pet to Obey.

If your ever not sure why a skill isn't working open up your pet list(or just mouse or cursor over it) and it will tell you a description, give you a lvl, and tell you the kind of action... in other words the skill it's self gives you the answer.

Thanks for the tip. That's what I was doing but I didn't/don't see Garuda's name on the skill :P

Be nice, guys. I just got the skill at level 40. I wanted to test it out before I went into any dungeons using duty finder. I couldn't figure it out. Don't you think it's better that I asked on here than test it in a dungeon?

Unfortunately this is the nature of most of the people on this forum. It's better to brush off the trolling
