I wish this thread had gained more traction, so I have another story to share.

Yesterday, my two FC mates and I stumbled across White Joker in Central Shroud after coming out of a dungeon. We were leveling alt classes, so we had to wait around for everything to cool down before we could fight him. Meanwhile, this mid-20 Arcanist wanders by, curious of what's happening. Fortunately, they don't aggro White Joker and we invite them to the party for the fight. We take him down, bow to each other, and go our separate ways. It was fun.

I actually have a pretty funny one involving the new hunt system as well. The other day I was in Bentbranch Meadows finally getting the ability to participate in chocobo raising, when all of a sudden someone shouts "What the heck is a level 50 mob doing next to Tam-Tara Deepcroft?!"

...naturally I alert my FC and get a party together to down the hunt mob, but of course the shout alerted all of the linkshells as well so the zerg of about 150 people start bashing through Central Shroud.

When we get to Forneus (A rank...yay!), there is about 150-200 people there and the little sprout (we have been calling the new players with the growing plant icon sprouts lol) was like, "Holy crap, are these things important?" No one really answered him, because we were all waiting for that inevitable pull to try and get full credit by smashing on it as quick as possible.

The little sprout says, "Don't worry guys, I got this." He runs up and pulls the mob. Forneus swipes his scythe at the poor sap once and he drops dead instantly. My entire mumble erupted into laughter, which I'm sure was echoed throughout the community that was there. It was hilarious. The sprout says, "Ugh, a little help please?" We zerg the hunt, my healer throws a raise to him and we went about our way.

Such a brave noob. He will undoubtedly be a superb Warrior of Light!

Haha Awesome stories Guys! Lots of healers helping out all us squishy folk (and some not so squishy).

So Got another one that sorta involves a healer, running through Central Shroud he apparently pulled way more than he could handle and I saw a WHM running with a group of mobs at his heels lol. I have to admit it was something out of a Benny Hill skit "cue music" so I ran over and did ring of thorns a couple times and cleared them all away for him. He said "thanks" I said "no problem glad to help" and we both went about our merry way.
