Well, I tried coming back.

This weekend marks nearly 7 months since I stopped playing and it was due to the issues mentioned here.

7 Months later, and they are still happening. Why are these: "Connection to the server lost 90000" errors still persisting after nearly a year of the game launch?

I play damn near every day, and this is...rare. 90k is an error that shows any time you disconnect for any reason, whether your internet OR the server or anything else like that. Yes, server-side problems still happen, but I haven't seen it once today, personally, and the only other time I can think of running into trouble recently was a short period yesterday, probably due to the huge influx of players from the welcome back campaign. It's definitely not a normal thing, or common by any stretch, unless it's client-side.

As for the other issues in your original post, if those are still relevant: 2.3 all but broke the RMT spam system by limiting tells, so you get one very, very rarely now, and you can clear your blacklist every day or every other day without having to worry about getting more tells. They don't last long.

Maintenance actually runs from 2-6 am EST most of the time, so they try to do it when it's MOST convenient for American players, actually.

I got a couple 90k errors this weekend, too. Don't tell people their connection sucks when it's much more likely the servers are stressed from the free weekend.

It's you, if your router or ISP throttles you, you will get the 90k

It is very rare I get it at all I bought a new router and the problem vanished the only time I ever get a 90k is when SE does a update.

Never ever in my entire life have I played a game with worse connectivity than FF14. I get at LEAST 3 90k's per day, not to mention the 2002 lobby errors that automatically terminate the game. According to SE it's something to do with my ISP, but I call bullocks on that.

These horrible servers won't keep me from playing, though.

If your connection to servers is so bad, you cannot blame others for that.
I'm sad you cannot play this great game, but at least be happy that you had a free opportunity to test if the game gone viable for play on your location/ISP provider setup.

In case you will change ISP or whatever else makes your connection so unreliable, I hope you will have in future new opportunities to check again with us.

2002 is literally a player side connection error, though.
