    Returning Fantasy-er! Need some advice

Due to exam constraints for University and studying hard, I had to quit FF14 before the first patch hit. I got to level 43 as a Warrior and I need some advice

    1. I was struggling pretty hard with the grind from 40-50. I seemed to be running out of quests as I wasn't a high enough level. Can anyone offer me advice for this grind? Should I be playing Warrior or Marauder to level?

    2. Is there anything really important I need to know after these patches? I played at launch but haven't experienced these patches yet.

    3. What advice can you give me for hitting 50. What should I do first?

    Thanks!

It's really easy to grind now. You have levequests, fates, challenge log, guildhests, PVP, and above all, dungeons.
Make sure to check your abilities, because they changed a bit. Patches are important, sure, but you'll figure it out as you go, and that's about all I can say really marauder is better for damage dealing, warrior for survival. So use what you want to level.

If whatever you're shooting doesn't die after you pump 8, 32 caliber, slugs into it, it's probably a dragon.

    1. This is only my opinion, but I'd say always play as your job (Warrior) when you do content in groups. You get decent exp doing dungeon runs/fates(don't forget duty roulette!).

    2. They've added some nice quality of life things, along with content, but I'd recommend just reading the patch notes to get more in depth into it, or just asking anyone you might know to fill you in on the details.

    3. Once you hit 50, and assuming you have been doing your class/job quests (which unlock skills for you) and you've been doing the main scenario quests, do the quest to get your relic weapon and do the new dungeons so you can farm up on mythology/soldiery stones to trade them in for some smexy gear.

As a warrior id say queue up for duty roulette as they will give you a huge boost of xp per day, plus all the xp per kill. Ear food for more xp, and Logout in the cities or at the Aetheryte.
