Acheivements

I noticed that in the lodestone, under history, there are a list of achievements I have gained. Some for killing notorious monsters, completing various quests, gaining lvl 15, 30, 50 etc..

What a brilliant, horrifically under used feature that is already in place.

I looked for posts but couldn't see anything specifically on this.

Why is there not:

1) A page in-game showing all collected, and uncollected achievements (secret ones could be hidden from this uncollected page).

2) Why is there no in-game notification (perhaps in the same vein as 'LIGHT PARTY' and 'FULL PARTY', that in my opinion are a little OTT), that informs a player. "Hey buddy, you just did something awesome!"

With achievements, much like in xbox live and psn, there come bragging rights and also a sense of drive to complete certain mundane tasks. (Leveling miner for one example.)

My major question i'd like answered is;

Are the features I've mentioned above included into current development plans. If not, Why? If so, When?

www.XIVpads.com keeps a good track of your in game achievements, I agree that an in game system would be better and do believe they are working on one.

This doesn't only concern achievements though imo, we need prompts to tell us when LS members and friends come on line as well.

Hopefully all of these are in the works

Ah yes, I have excellent news! This has been a very big request of mine for a while, the best part is, the dev team said that they would be implementing this system in the 1.20 patch, which happens to be the next patch.

How will they do it, no idea, but I liked your ideas.

The other part, is I hear achievements will unlock player titles, no word yet on if that's still coming, but thankfully we won't have to wait long.

Ah!, Titles, when I started writing the post I had thought of those, but I forgot my train of thought. Glad to hear they thought of it first!
