Fan Fest 2014 (Under 21)

I will only be 20 years old at the time of the Fan Fest this year. I would like some assurance that I will not be restricted from participating in anything due to the location being part casino. The Rio hotel has restrictions from me checking into a hotel due the casino/my age. I don't want to arrive at the event only to find out I am not allowed through a casino floor.

Our comic con as well as many other conventions are all held at casinos.. There are entrances where you don't have to walk through the actual casino in order to enter the convention areas so I don't see why they would enforce any restriction outside of a guardian if someone is under 18.

I went to Vegas when I was 15 years old. Many places, since most casinos are located in lobbies of hotels, etc., have a roaming policy where you can walk through the casino hall without having to be carded. But you cannot loiter around the tables or machines.

Not my intention of hijacking this thread, but my question more or less falls under the same category. It says that you have to be 18 to purchase tickets. Does that mean anyone under 18 has to be accompanied by an adult, or can someone under 18 still attend by themself as long as an adult purchased the ticket?

You'l be fine, you're allowed to walk through towards the convention hall. It's huge, I was there when they held EVO. Plus if you locals aren't aware. We get a pretty sick discount at the Buffet.

You must be 13 years of age or older in order to register for Fan Festival 2014. Attendees under the age of 13 are permitted to attend the festival free of charge, but they must be accompanied by an adult (18+) with a ticket at all times. Also, you must be a registered attendee over the age of 13 to receive exclusive items, participate in activities, contests, and giveaways.

For most areas in Las Vegas, including the Rio, it's okay for someone underage to walk through the casino areas as long as he or she is accompanied by an adult over 21, and clearly in transit.

Vegas doesn't have the same rule like Atlanta City Casino. Rio Meeting Hall have it own entrance also, which in the back, use google map.
