    1) I have asked in the past for this exact thing. See post above
    2) I'm not asking for the removal of, I am asking for less of it on everything that's upgraded.

I honestly cannot fathom why the developers never thought to have this as an option. Id like to think this wouldn't be too difficult to implement.

You made specific reference to the 2.3 preview, which was what I was defending.

This is a much better request instead of asking them to remove or even alter their vision of how they want future gear to look. What if I said I wanted to see more glowing effects? Who should they listen to?

Instead of asking for something to be taken away or reduced, I think they should just make it a toggle so everyone can be happy.

(Oh, and if you asked for it in the past, I still think it would be much more considerate to your fellow gamers to simply show that thread some more love instead of asking the developers to alter the aesthetic direction of the game.)

Best way to make everyone happy: Equal representation. As of now and from what it appears our future holds, we will have glowing weapons for everything except Allagan.
I am asking for myself and players like me to be catered to just like the other portion of the player base that likes this glow and that's not a selfish nor absurd request. A selfish request would be something like "Take away all of the glowing effects" or "Keep making everything glow".
And seeing as you appear to not care when someone actually states something with no proof as long as it agrees with you "You're asking to remove an effect that pleases the mass", you are not worth having a discussion with.

The vast majority of weapons in this game do not glow. At end game that does change, yes. Quite a few of the weapons start off with no glow and are then upgraded to glow, so there is technically something for both crowds.

In your OP, you were asking for them to use different color schemes instead of glowing. I just feel like a better suggestion would be some sort of toggle or at least supply the original weapon not glowing at the calamity vendor. Some of the best looking weapons in this game have no glow at all, and I can appreciate both weapons - glow and no glow.

I'm sorry if you felt like I was attacking you but you came off as "I don't like it so don't add it.". I agree they should cater to both crowds, but they can do that without compromising their artistic direction.

Let me see if I understood...99.99% of the equipment + weapons do NOT glow...and you are complaining about the 0.01% that glow (relic weapons) and that CAN BE GLAMOURED just like anything else in this game in case you don't like them.

    This...is...completely...ridiculous xD.

I get where your coming from. Though I personally love the glow effects, I do believe they should add an option in settings to turn off both your glow, and/or others glows like they have for weapon skills and such.

O.o oh my god that's brilliant!! Why are there no spike hair styles.. SE this is now top priority. . I need spiked hair and a "weaponless" glamour for my mnk so I can glow.

Also, I'd totally be krillin, as a bald lala, but I don't die enough XD
