Quick questing question

Hi guys,

I just have a quick question about side quests. I have just arrived at my 2nd city (Limsa Lominsa) and upon checking the side quest list I noticed I couldnt find a few of the side quests (glory days etc). Then I noticed the pre requisites led right back to the welcome main quest.

I guess my question is, is there a long line of side quests that are tied to your starting city, or is there another way to access these side quests?

Which city you start in does determine which starting zone has quests, yes. You'll find many sidequests unlock with progress through the main storyline, and the pre-15 section where the storylines differ is no different.

Also, if you're leveling your first job, you might want to focus on only main scenario quests, class (and later job) quests, your hunting log etc. and save the extra side quests for the other classes (also DoH and DoL) you want to level.

Your starting city has two additional side quest story arcs which are designed to help you level your combat classes in conjunction with your main scenario quests (designed for lv.5-9 and lv.10-14). The other side quests are shared.

The only way to access them is to make a new character starting in those cities, as they tie in directly with your arrival to the city.
