    is Mercy Stroke worth it?

    ^

    I am currently thinking about adding my last 2 cross-class ability, but unsure what my 5 DRG C-C should be. I mean Manta is great ideal when no one else has it, or is it one of those Birthday party C-C that the more people have the smooth the run, but me and a MNK work great together… "hell, I work well with anyone," but 200p on MS would be great in theory, but is it worth the usage?

    If you want a debate you can ask if it is DRG's second or third best CC ability.

    Personally I use, Internal Release, Mercy Stroke, Second Wind, Bloodbath and Mantra.

    it is particularly good for fights that have a lot of adds because then it becomes another off gcd that you weave in as adds are about to go down.

    it's pretty epic when you get a crit mercy stroke for 800 dmg. Also, it's off GDC.

    I would call Internal Release and Mercy Stroke the must haves. You can use for Mantra, Second Wind, Bloodbath and Foresight as the other 3 spots in various situations.

    Mantra - A must have, even though its not as powerful as the monk's version but every increase buff for healing helps ie: T6,T8 AOE.

    Internal Release - Use it very early in a dragoon's rotation right after Heavy Thrust. Usually combined with Blood for Blood.

    Second Wind - Still not as powerful as a Monk's version, any HP you can garner while your healers are busy topping off the tanks are a welcomed addition

    Mercy Stroke - Every bit of extra DPS counts. For weaving in during attacks. Off GCD as well

    For the last skill slot, it depends on you really. You either choose Foresight (DEF) or Featherfoot (EVASION). For me personally i use DEF if im a dragoon as sometimes i might need to tank a boss/add during those oh shit moments.
