Regarding unique gear models

Real talk SE, can we at least get unique gear model by class (or by ROLE even) for things like CT and Coil? Why is it acceptable to recycle models at this stage in the game especially at this tier of content?

Also speeds up development time using re-skins.

Not sure what you're saying considering most PC Only MMOs recycle heavily as well - even more so because some allows you to add "components" to armor - Heck some don't even have proper paperdolling. The real answer is tos ave time and push out content faster.

Are they recycling 2.x models? I never played 1.x but I thought all they were doing was trying to find a away to incorporate 1.x stuff in 2.x or do you mean gear from other FF games?

I'm talking about the same model being applied to multiple gear sets but re-colored, as is the case in the CT sets and in Coil.

I they there are referencing bard and monk gear for soldiery. Paladins/Warriors share a gear set, as well as Blackmage/summoner, and whitemage/scholar. I think the OP would prefer something akin to the myth gear where each class has it's own unique set. I think this would work for Soldiery Gear/CT gear, but for coil it would make obtaining gear a pain.

They mean -
Healers and Casters sharing exact same (recoloured) model in the picture.
In BCoB6-9 the Caster gear is the same model as the Bard
In Soldiery the Bard gear is the same as the Monks
etc.
