Has the next stage of relic been pushed back from 2.3?

The last we heard there was supposed to be a new step in the zodiac quest in 2.3.

"Yoshida: Well, there won't be anything stopping you from doing it.... That said, the strengthening will happen in steps and it won't end with patch 2.2. This will continue with 2.2, 2.25, and 2.3. It's planned in a way that not many people will have finished the elements from the 2.2 patch by the time 2.25 is available. We also have plans to keep the weapons viable even in their final form."

The novus stage was pushed back due to power outages/not enough people obtaining them. Does this apply to the step beyond novus as well?

When hasn't anything been pushed back in this game? The real meat of the quest are the daily hunts, if anything they're still catching up as always. Even if they added a new step, weapons would have to be above item level 110, possibly 115 or above and that's a big no no since they'd be on par with High Allagan, only dungeon gear has to be the best, always.

There is no step beyond Novus, adding a stage beyond Novus will means having a lvl 110 + ( 115 maybe ? ) Weapon, will then be equal or better than High-allagan, which they don't want ( cf, allagan weapons becoming ilvl 95 )

I wonder what they originally planned to release in 2.3 then, since yoshi definitely said they originally planned to have a stage in 2.25 (Novus) and another in 2.3.

I guess he meant the different ways to get the alexandrite that they are adding in 2.3

i think they want to keep w/e high endgame raiding weapon as the best available, so they won't advance the zodiac until the eve of 2.4.

2.3 will likely include the step that lets you start over with another Sphere Scroll if you finish your Novus and then want to change the stats on it later, which is probably what they intended all along.

The original intent may have been an i105 step at 2.25. With the delay to 2.28 they simply pulled forward the 2.3 step and made it one big step to i110.
