    Part I - congestion on screen - Solved!

    Part II

    I play on PS4, and iv noticed that the screen can still get filled easily with abilities, quests, that big 'mini map' in the corner and party stats. There's not much room for the chat log or to appreciate the graphical achievement the game has to offer. And then there's when you have all that and you do a Fate! I mean you can juuuuuust see the casting text above the hotbar...

    on the PSN app on the iPad, there is a second screen function. This doesn't really do anything with FFXIV yet.

    I would like to see an app that connects to the PS4, or indeed an add-on to the PSN app, that gives you more using the second screen. So imagine this;

    On the second screen:

    * the mini map
    * Duty finder status
    * the chat log
    * Fate Spawns in you area
    * character/stats screen
    * inventory/armour chest.

    This would certainly clear the clutter and ensure that you can get to these screens when you need them, and not be a distraction during battle!

    Your thoughts...?

    Edit: please note that the PSN app is an official app. I simply suggest S-E could utilise this app by either working on it via an add on (if possible) or creating an official app themselves that offer a similar function to how I have described.

    Alternatively: adding a way to hide quest logs, change text size of party names, or simply shrink the entire mini map down slightly would also work.

    Yoshi already said not really interested in utilising the second screen. And you can manage sizes of individual GUI components under System -> HUD Layout you can also hide them if you want. Or all of them from one of the settings screens(by default it's set to 140% on PS4).
