Over 20 hours of QQing - think of all the SP you could have gained instead!
I didn't read the 39+ pages of QQingness, but how was SP/week on average nerfed when you no longer have the fatigue system?
What the hell are you talking about? I do regular SP-Parties every day? SO what? On 40's i get atm like 30.000+ a hour, in high 40's it will go up to around 35.000. Can you read these numbers? There is no Behest in this Game where you ever got 30.000 SP in one friggn hour.. Stop beeing a fool.
I'm starting to get rather annoyed Kensei.. HE DIDNT NERF THE SP... HE BALANCED IT, SP GAINS WERE FAR TOO FAST THAT PEOPLE WERE GETTING TO RANK 50 IN A WEEK OR 2 THIS IS A MMO NOT A SINGLE PLAYER GAME...
ok I feel better now..... =) I hate repeating myself like a skinking Jack in a boxx...... daaa daaa daa daa dadada da da da da da daaaaaaaaaa da da da da dadada POP GOES THE DODO!
The problem with leves is that they can only be done 8 times every 36 hours which is why they can't be considered for a constant sp gain. There is nothing after the patch that gives as much SP/hour as behest used to. That's why it was a lie when Yoshi said ranking up wouldn't be affected.I was getting 210, so I dont know where you getting this 80-90 sp from but alright " look elsewhere" and Lahin said you were with him on the first day of patch and did leves and got awesome sp out of them like 4k from kills and 6k for completeing it and now your saying its not " get a group a fight" this game isnt solo based anymore Im sorry to say, soloing really isnt an option for the most part unless your at my rank 47 killing 49 Beastmen getting 210 a kill then its soloing
So it seems to me that the people telling you that Behest is not the best way to level, that it was leve's, are not incorrect as you have been telling them. You simply did not look deeply into the other ways of ranking up because you felt it was less sp and a waste of time. You did not know that there were other ways of gaining SP at a faster rate.
Due to this, the one way that you did rank up has been nerfed. Since you yourself said you did not know of the failing method on leves (which if you had given leves a try, I am sure you would have discovered this fact very quickly) and you only ranked up though behest I can see why you would be upset.
Maybe you should listen to others in the thread who have tried multiple ways of ranking and experimented, and the people who are figuring out the new ways post-patch to gather SP and try them. Behest is by far -not- the only way (or the best way before this patch) to rank up in this game, by saying you wouldn't try anything else that might not give as much SP seems a bit closed minded. It seems that you're set in your ranking ways and don't really want to try anything new, and some people are like that in many aspects of life and in games.
But I do hope that you can adjust and find a new way of ranking other than Behests.
I will have to disagree on this point, but from the view of a crafter/botanist.
I am a R43 Alchemist and I did four leves for my craft, two R40 and two R45. Not only did I get the same basic SP per synth as I crafted each one, but when I turned them in I got roughly a 3.2k bonus at the end for the R40’s and a 3.6k bonus for the R45’s.
So for about 30 minutes of work:
R40 Leves :::
250sp (roughly) a synth x 6 synths = 1500 x 2(for the two 40’s) = 3000
3000sp + 6400sp (3.2k for turning in each one) = 9400sp
R45 Leves :::
480sp (roughly) a synth x 8 synths = 3840 x 2 (for the two 45’s) = 7680
7680sp + 7200sp (3.6k for turning in each one) = 14880
So in all for about 30 min of work ::: 9400 + 14880 = 24,280 SP for my Alchemist.
With botany I had much of the same result, I was still getting SP per logging/harvesting that I received and then when I completed the leve I received roughly a 2k bonus for doing that. So no, in this circumstance everything does not give less SP since this new patch.
But then, not unexpected. This happens in every MMO after every major patch that changes up something in how it's played. There's a lot of people who simply don't like to step outside their comfort zone and do something different. They'll rage against change every time they're faced with it.
I agree on both accounts. It was pointed out that this would occur, so I don’t see where all the issues are coming from.
You do realize that some people are using fake characters since SE is forcing people to show name/server/class. Also if people do show their character, you do realize that SE allows you to pick which job you wish to show? You can not assume that the character they display is their actual character.
Anyway they seem a lot more logical that most of the other people on this thread, so I’d take advice from a level 12 in this circumstance as well.
I'm just a bun boy, doing bun boy things.
This. Actually I've seen about 40k/hour multiple times on the best parties.What the hell are you talking about? I do regular SP-Parties every day? SO what? On 40's i get atm like 30.000+ a hour, in high 40's it will go up to around 35.000. Can you read these numbers? There is no Behest in this Game where you ever got 30.000 SP in one friggn hour.. Stop beeing a fool.
And your point is? The only things anyone ever did was leves and behests ( aside from Raptor parties) NO one ever grinded for sp.... at all... I mean ... at all... and I know quite a few spots to grind for sp...The problem with leves is that they can only be done 8 times every 36 hours which is why they can't be considered for a constant sp gain. There is nothing after the patch that gives as much SP/hour as behest used to. That's why it was a lie when Yoshi said ranking up wouldn't be affected.
Well, Kensei, you more sound like a retard potato if you believe Behest was the best way to level up... With leve failing (especially the peiste one) we easily racked in 17k SP with one single leve... and with eight leves in a row (and no half-hour wait in between) ... well, do the math ^^/I never knew of the existence of that failing method until yesterday when one of you mentioned it and behest was the most efficient sp/hour gain so it was obviously the one I focused on. Why do anything else that doesn't give as much SP? It would have been dumb.
Stop your childish, embarassing drama already. Maybe Yoshi did trick you into believing something that nobody else believed. Or just a few potatoes. For me (and most of us) it was *quite* clear some changes to the EXP (and MP) systems were overdue. It's called experience. Or common sense. Or realism. But the most important part is: nobody cares about how you personally feel about it.
Maybe you are too inexperienced with MMOs to understand that whenever there's an "uber" method/ability/thing, it will naturally be adjusted with the next patch? Please open up another thread titled:
Squeenix is so mean. They lied. I hate you all. I quit.
At least have some style.
He didn't say in the letter he was balancing it, he said it wouldn't be affected at all and since nothing after the patch provides as much SP as behest before the patch ranking up is now slower, which means it was affected. So he lied.I'm starting to get rather annoyed Kensei.. HE DIDNT NERF THE SP... HE BALANCED IT, SP GAINS WERE FAR TOO FAST THAT PEOPLE WERE GETTING TO RANK 50 IN A WEEK OR 2 THIS IS A MMO NOT A SINGLE PLAYER GAME...

Look, we've been friends for some time and I respect you. If you are pleased with the way the game is now than I am truly happy for you dude and am glad you enjoy it so much.
