If that flew over your head, I don't think I can explain it to you in a way you'd understand, sorry.

Having mobs chase you would be a very stupid idea, and hard to do as the zones are seamless and very damn large. It worked (though annoying) in FFXI because zones weren't miles in length.
man i was 3/4 of the way to lvling glad from 30-31. I come on day after the patch, did the first 4 quests and leveled up JUST from handing quests in. I didn't even use the glad during the quests lol.
Yeah whatever the took sp away from leves and stuff but go in a dungeon and fight ur way through and u get crazy enough sp just cause theres so many freakin monsters!!! And its actually FUN. Instead of going through a bunch of leves mindlessly getting crazy SP but falling asleep cause there's twice as many ppl as u actually need, the dungeons are actually challenging and if I may say, REALLY friggin fun. Awesome music and I think the battle system's really improved. I'm back doing archer the way I wanted to in the first place, standing in the back doing crazy damage while avoiding gettin hit, instead of err..... tanking? Yea. Just wanna say thank you SE for the balancing, and the crazy content. Havin so much fun :3
Funny cause I saw him say exp is slower in behest than it was before... not that there is nothing better available if you have the time and resources to access it.
That's not exactly what the OP's main point was... please re-read the OP.
OP stated that overall SP gains are slower partly due to the nerf to behest "the best form of leveling" in the OP's eyes. The OP was attempting to argue not exclusively on the side of behest but more on the general amount of SP/hour is nerfed which is opposite of what Yoshi letter promised.

The last sentence of your statement is correct. However, I did also say what Luxlex is saying. There are many ways to get SP no doubt about that, I have already acknowledged, it but none can reach the amount of SP/hour that Behest provided pre-patch. That is all this thread is trying to get across. That's not exactly what the OP's main point was... please re-read the OP.

dun dun dun for all you people thinking that this had nothing to do with behest... He is using behest as his baseline SP/hr so it is an arguement over behest sp/hr not of sp/hr overall by the OP...The last sentence of your statement is correct. Hmmm I am going to re-read it and get back to you, but I seem to remember the OP talking about soloing in subsequent posts, and since yoshi said leves were going to be the method of gaining solo exp, I wouldn't be shocked if the OP was upset that they now suck for SP.

They definitely are terrible now. I was doing leves in BW and getting 1.6-1.8k per leve. Each one taking well over 15 minutes to finish. Every single way of obtaining SP pre-patch was nerfed and you can verify yourself or ask around in your server.
