90% spiritbond gear would then only be possible if you include 3star crafted gear in that, so no... "everyone" will not show up in 90% spiritbond gear... Not for a long time.

Don't forget to harass your group on day 1, calling everyone stupid and ***s because they don't know how to beat anything. Also be sure that you are blaming others for lack of DPS (if you're DPS), inability to heal (if you're healer), and inability to survive (if you're tank). Remember, as a spiritbonder, you're always right. Oh and let's not forget that after one week, you should be claiming you've been clearing CT2 for months.

Might want to wait a few days. First few days you'll likely get kicked by the overzealous group seeking perfect runs. Afterwards people will start to spiritbond in mass and it won't be an issue.

I was hoping CT2 would be relevant for main characters so this is a huge disappointment. I do play alts though, so I'll still run it, but it seems like a weird decision to offer nothing to improve the main classes of people who've been capping soldiery every week. If SE is doing this to try to keep CT2 pleasant and casual, the joke's on them. I'm sure it'll be just as full of jerks as CT1.

it annoys me too, every second expert roulette i get someone who bonds, last time we hat da PLD with 3000 Life in new Amdapor....

My healer's are full soldiery (minus one ilvl 90 ring b/c you can't buy two Daystar rings) and I have whm Animus/working on scholar Animus, but if the healing gear in CT2 is good, I'll still go for that. It all depends on the stats of the new gear as well as the physical appearance. If its similar to soldiery stats wise, but looks awesome I'll still get it. If it's better stats wise but ugly as sin, I'll still get it. However, if it's so-so stats and ugly, I'll pass and get items for my casters or bard.

I'm also planning on getting at least one of the tomes to be able to get a soldiery weapon like the Laevateinn for my blm.

Don't get me wrong i'll still go in to gear my alt jobs and maybe to get some sidegrade for my main job but i was hoping to have something to look forward to improve my main job.

Its not on my weekly priority list anymore

Really Crystal Tower should be coming out before Coil instead of after. It seems like it's forever backtracking. Hard to get excited about gear that's obsolete before it even exists.
