Brayflox's Longstop (Hard) SpeedRun Problem

I once did a Brayflox full soldiery run with DRG + SMN (two classes people don't want to have for a SR)... we finished just two minutes later than my fastest SR (which was 8 minutes with BRD + SMN btw). It's funny because I have BLM, and so when I see those groups I am always forced to play BLM because people don't want SMN (Just 2x Blm or BLM/BRD)... although the thing people don't realize is certain classes (like SMN, MNK, DRG) make up for their lack of crazy AoE damage by absolutely destroying the bosses. That's the reason people are okay with BLM/BRD btw. BRD will not do as much damage as a BLM on AoEs, but BRD will do better damage with single-target. In other words, there is a tradeoff between AoE and single-target advantages, and people of equal skill/gear will clear a full soldiery run of Brayflox within roughly the same estimated time, although there may be a few minutes of difference depending on which class combination you bring.

As always, there are stereotypes that people cling to about what jobs are and aren't capable of doing something. Right now, your class is the 'underdog' when it comes to this particular situation. Hopefully you will make some friends who don't cling to the stereotypes while you are farming your myth.
