You can play any way you want in the game BUT when it comes to playing with a team you have to adjust your play style so everyone can work together in clearing that content the best way possible, if they don't want to work with others they should play something else that's not an MMO.

In my opinion that's just being selfish.

I think the problem is that there is ONLY one way to play, and ONLY one build of success. Couple this with this lack of consequence from DF and the lack of social community, and you have people chafing under the lack of choice.

Yes, you are free to play in any way you want in a party even when friendly advice is given and no one is forcing you to do otherwise but when you are making things difficult for others in your team why not change things a little bit? I mean, you can still play the way you want while trying to be helpful to your team and not making something "easy" more difficult than it is.

I also agree that the main problem is that there's not much to choose from in terms of builds for any class.
