There isn't really much in the way of a tut or a walkthrough, unless there's a player made one out there.

You get quests in town, usually at the inn you get to in the beginning. Talk to the NPCs there. There's other NPCs around towns that give quests, I think they have an exclamation mark on the map (I forget though).

To upgrade your gear go to the market districts, you're a little low but you should find stuff there. Or join a LS and hope a mate will make something for you.

Pugs can't craft, only a crafting class can craft.
