    Tips for Miners (Very n00b questions)

    Hi all!

    I recently started mining and I find that I really enjoy it, plus I am making a decent chunk of change in the market and hoarding metals/ore/sand for when I start leveling up my other crafts. Few questions:

    1. Will my field gear ever look any cooler!? LMAO! I know this one does not matter but look at my stupid hat! Hahaha.

    2. Is perception the most important stat?

    3. Do you have any general tips or favorite mining spots?

    1) Yes.
    2) Not really. Perception only affects HQ rate, Gathering affects your overall success rate.
    3) As all the gathering nodes are very specific, there really can't be much favoritism. I would probably suggest doing Fieldcraft Leves, as they don't fill your inventory with junk.

    Gathering comes first then perception, keep both up while leveling , gathering will increase the percentage that u obtain an item , perception will increase the hq rate , hence also helping with leveling as u get a nice chunk of Xp for hq hits
    Gear does get better mainly only when u hit 50

    Just so you don't get disappointed, that's not the MNR50 hat. Looks like the Butcher's Crown to me, the reward for the 100k kills Achievement, but I could be wrong on which achievement hat it is...
