    Account suspended for suspicious log in

    Hi guys and girls,
    I'm looking for some words of wisdom on this problem I face on an almost daily basis.
    I log into my Account on PC to play this game. Then I get an error saying my account has been temporarily suspended due to my login place has changed, I then have to go through a pain to get access to my account again. What can be done to stop this in the future as it's getting annoying.
    For those who want to provide advise I live in UK, I also have BT Infinity (fibre optic BB) and ALWAYS log in from the same PC via same ethernet connection in the same house.

    use a authenicator then u wont get the problem otherwise you will get that problem. seeing as your ip address does change

    Don't worry - that happens all the time. The 'suspicious access' is actually not. This happens usually when you access the game when your IP address has changed (particularly if you access the game from different locations). Most ISPs give their users static IP addresses, but sometimes the IP address they give you changes (such as rebooting your modem), thus when you try accessing the game with a different IP address to the one you previously used it tricks SE's login system into thinking that it's someone else other than you trying to access your account.

    The only way to avoid this is to purchase and register a SE Security Token or a SE Software Token to your account. Doing so will require you to enter a one-time password (which the token generates randomly) each time you login in addition to your regular SE password, but the upside is the login screen will ignore IP addresses changing (as well as making your account more secure). There is no other way around this I'm afraid, other than changing your password each time your IP address changes and the resulting IP block occurs.

    It seems like BT is assigning you with dynamic public IP address rather the fixed one - one option would be to check with BT if you can get fixed IP instead (but depending on your sub they might charge extra for that) or get the one time password (either physical dongle or app for your mobile) which will then stop this as well and as a bonus you'll have also free teleport destination in game.

    Make sure you check your e-mail inbox/spam for any messages by SE. This message can occur when RMT has gotten hold of your account and it can be a very long process to getting it undone.
